Rustic Minnesota building stone was utilized to create mortared seat walls on this three-level patio. Natural flagstone steps provide access from level to level and provide consistency of theme throughout this project. A variety of perennials gracefully provide base on the outside of the walls while large urns of annuals are strategically located on the patios.

Water dances down this creekbed from an upper level basin to a lower level pond, providing excellent sound and tempo that can be enjoyed from the adjacent patio or any of the rooms that view the water feature. This woodland garden boasts an assortment of shade loving plants consistent with those that might appear on a native stream.

A planting of multi-seasonal interest with variegated Iris, Azaleas, and a Red Bud tree bursting with spring color. Yews and Boxwoods provide framework for the garden and remain green all year, while perennials add summer color and texture. Burning Bush and additional perennials supply fall color till late fall.
